Olcay Sert is a Finalist for the 2017 AAAL First Book Award

Social Interaction and L2 Classroom Discourse by Olcay Sert provides a close examination of interactional practices in L2 classrooms and, to date, has received praise from The Linguist List, New Zealand Studies in Applied Linguistics and Working Papers in TESOL and Applied Linguistics. It was also shortlised for the BAAL Book Prize in 2016.

The 2017 AAAL First Book Award will be announced at the annual conference in Portland in March.
