Open access
Open access for libraries

In order to make sure that open access books are available to libraries in a convenient way, Edinburgh University Press submits all of our open access ebooks and supporting metadata to KU Open Services. They then integrate the metadata into all relevant indexing systems – such as DOAB, Google Scholar, ProQuest Serial Solutions, ExLibris (Primo Central), EBSCO Discovery Service, Knowledge Base, Worldcat and others – and MARC21-Records are created.
Our open access books are hosted on OAPEN, HathiTrust and JSTOR and archived with Portico and CLOCKSS.
If you are having difficulty finding our open access books for your institutional library, please contact our sales team: sales@eup.ed.ac.uk
OA journals
Edinburgh University Press registers any Diamond or Subscribe to Open Journals with DOAJ. We also integrate the metadata into all our standard indexing arrangements – such as Crossref, Google Scholar, Ex Libris, EBSCO Discovery Service and Knowledge Base, WorldCat and others.
Our open access journal articles are all hosted on the Edinburgh University Press journals platform.
