We're delighted to share the news that Edinburgh University Press has been nominated for two awards at this year's Independent Publishing Awards.
EUP has been shortlisted for The Alison Morrison Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award, for its work on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility.
Here is what the judges had to say:
“EUP’s publishing and workplace policies are well thought out and rooted in DEI… it’s putting accessibility at the core.”
Meanwhile, Commissioning Editor for Ancient History & Classical Studies, Helena Heald, has been nominated for The Ola Gotkowska Young Independent Publisher Award!
Here's what the judges had to say:
“It’s great to see someone breaking the silos of work in publishing. An editor who understands data and marketing so well is a great asset for EUP.”
Congratulations to Helena and the EDIA group!
