EUP Appoints NewSouth Books in Australia and New Zealand

Edinburgh University Press is happy to announce a distribution agreement with NewSouth Books for Australia and New Zealand, with our April 2025 titles the first to receive full promotional activities in the region.

Thanks to the print-on-demand service provided by NewSouth Book’s in collaboration with Ingram Lightning Source, all our POD books will be available with a quick turnaround time. Any books not available on demand, will be shipped from our UK warehouse.

Website orders will be fulfilled from the UK warehouse as per current arrangements, so direct customers should allow for shipping time and costs.

Charlotte Mason, Head of Sales, said ‘EUP is delighted to work with NewSouth Books in order to have a direct sales channel into Australia and New Zealand. This is a region where we know our content is valued and feel that NewSouth Books is the perfect, collaborative partner to maximise distribution potential. This will result in a wider audience having access to our books in a much quicker time and in a more environmentally sustainable way.’

Kathy Bail, Chief Executive Officer NewSouth Books said ‘We have long admired Edinburgh University Press. It is a well-respected and leading university press with an impressive list of titles that is recognised for its publishing excellence and academic rigour. We’re delighted to be working with the excellent team at EUP to distribute their books in Australia and New Zealand.’
