Oliver Kröner

Oliver Kröner is a research associate at the Institute for Media and Cultural Studies at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany. His research examines contemporary television with a focus on characters, narration, affect and aesthetics. His work has previously been published in Cognition, Emotion, and Aesthetics in Contemporary Serial Television (2021) and Convergent Wrestling: Participatory Culture, Transmedia Storytelling, and Intertextuality in the Squared Circle (2020).
