Lydia C. Cole

Dr Lydia C. Cole is Lecturer in International Relations at University of Sussex. Situated at the intersections of Critical Peace and Conflict Studies and Aesthetic Politics, her research is interested in the role of everyday artistic practices in peacemaking. To date, her research has primarily focused on peace and conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina and United Kingdom, engaging with visual, tactile and sonic arts. Her research has been published in journals such as International Political Sociology and Journal of Intervention and Statebuilding.
